My review
I have to say I really liked this one! I wasn't sure what I was going into when I saw this was going to be about art theft, because it seemed like it could go one of two ways: either really exciting or just lacklustre. Luckily it was the former. I never would've thought I would be interested in this type of thing, but now it's got me looking for more books about classic art.
That familiar feel of mystery and adventure was still felt in this installment, which I think is a pretty impressive feat by Reading. I have loved seeing Kitty grow throughout these books and become even more of a smart, savvy detective.
I'm also very happy that Charlie is finally back as a major part of the book. It was very interesting to see how Kitty and Charlie act towards each other in real life compared to their emails, and I hope he stays working with Kitty in the next one.
I can't wait to see where Kitty travels to next.
